Fakenham Community Shed
AGM 2025
In attendance:

Welcome to the third AGM especially perspective new members.
Chairman read the previous AGM meetings as attached and they were proposed by MH and 2nd by BM as a true statement from the previous AGM.
Appreciation was extended to all who helped to set up the Shed. Special thanks went to AB for making the benches SA for installing the electrics and GB for the display/storage shelves and painting.
Proposal of Committee restructure

proposed MH. Seconded BM
Secretary/admin: (shared by all committees where necessary ) and agreed by all members.
Co-opted teams events/prepare/attending events volunteered:
Will Pratt, Bob Maple and Laurie Coburn.
Marketing volunteered:
Mike and Vanessa.
Fundraising volunteered:
Janice.
Membership:
Membership for this year to be kept at £24 proposed by VG, seconded WP
Continued refurbishment of the back room kitchenette was suggested : WP will tile kitchen. VG and JM to finish painting on suggested dates Sundays and Mondays.
Other apologies extended to Andy as has been in Hospital and Gary on bereavement of his daughter and we wish them a speedy recovery.
Change of status was discussed was agreed not at the moment.
Tim suggested community interest company CIC. Was highlighted that we are currently a CIC but will be applying for charity status later in the year.

Future Development
storage area: check with landlord whether Temporary wooden construction can be erected near where trailer is.
Discussion Re: Proposed Land from Sculthorpe parish council .
Q’s : timescale and use of the land e.g. gardening clubs, community wellness hub? More to be discussed on the 5th of March at parish council meeting.

Q’s how many rooms would there be?
time scale could be three to five years Red Tape and CBR checks for all members?

c.) New opening times 10 till 2 instead of 10-4 as most people gone by 2.

Costessey Fete September at the show ground! 20 K foot full at no cost, need ideas for children wooden toys and trivets etc game to win bagatelle.
Car Boot starts April – need volunteers Have the flag at Thursday’s market handing out leaflets – Vic to contact Angela Glyn
Suggestion of £500 donation for the container we’ve been using.
